Much as I'd like to slag on Orkut, I can't. It was awesome when i was the 5000 somthing-th member. Now, with 1,000,000+ members it's succumbing to scaling issues. Badly.
Frankly though, this is a computer thing and my whole point of starting the Orkut
Motorcyle Roadracing Community was simply to find like minds. I am a
roadracer. I like to watch and talk about roadracing and I found a voice.
Unfortunately, I was stymied by software. So is Blogger the place to do this? Kind of ironic, since Google owns both Blogger and Orkut. But Blogger is more time-tested, or so I'm told. Time will tell, and if no one reads then it doesn't really matter.
If it happens, I'll post my content here first then try and post it on Orkut. If it behaves. There are over 200 of you who like it there, perhaps you'll like it here.
